In retrospect, I should have had more confidence. In my work here in this gallery, I see years of growth, practice, and learning. I remember the doubts, comparisons, and uncertainties that filled every critique, wondering if design was something I was good enough to do. Now, in the work I was so insecure about, I find great comfort and pride. Now, in my work, I see how far I’ve come and how far I have to go. I can look at the pieces that hang here and see that having the desire to give all of my effort and time to my growth makes me good enough. Now, I am confident.
