"In All Things"
I had named my exhibit In All Things because God has been faithful to me in all things. I use the word “things” because He has orchestrated everything. The small things may seem menial and maybe they are, but God has shown His faithfulness to me in all things. In my exhibit I explore landscapes to express the faithfulness of God in all things that I have experienced. I have lived in four states and traveled to many more, and my artwork reflects the places that I have lived or visited. The paintings are of images that I took as I experienced the places where God had put me at the time, and the work pulls from colors, textures, and memories that impacted me in those places, including Ouachita.
